Joseph is moving on from MTV. MTV's series  Catfish  is losing one co-host. Max Joseph is leaving the reality tv series after seven seasons, and he announced his departure via a statement released on Twitter. “Hey guys, the time has come, sadly, for me to move on from  Catfish . Working on this show for the last seven years has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I’ve learned a lot about myself, my country and human nature in general," he wrote. Bennett says working with Thug was a very inspiring experience. Taylor Bennett is a huge  Young Thug  fan, and his appreciation for the rapper only grew stronger when he got a chance to work with him on his new project  Be Yourself . In a recent interview with Ebro for Beats 1, Bennett spoke of how Thug had inspired the project, down to the cover art, which he said was made with the  Jeffery  cover in mind. His relentless work ethic from 2012-2015 propelled him to the front of his class as he effectively ran laps around both his peers and his mentors. However, after the crippling hard-drive dump that stalled Thug's rising stock in 2015, Thug had to regroup with his camp in order to make sure such a massive leak would never again be possible. The following two years saw a new, more refined Thugger - Jeffrey as it were - where the emphasis was entirely on his increasingly sparse projects, and less on his tendencies to be a renegade. "Stay Dangerous" doesn't quite approach the near-perfection of YG's first two albums, but his looseness and maturation make for an essential listen.  YG 's first two albums,  My Krazy Life  and  Still Brazy , are two of the most essential rap albums— or at the very least, L.A. rap albums— of the past five years. His debut surprised everyone with its skillful execution of the "day in the life" trope, which was more hard-nosed and less introspective than Kendrick Lamar's similarly-styled  good kid, m.A.A.d city , but just as honest and engrossing.  Still Brazy  dialed back the structural ambition but saw YG stepping up his fundamentals, delivering better rapping, more thoughtful subject matter, and a more cohesive-sounding final product. For someone whose features and non-album material usually come off as more playful than serious (think BlocBoy JB's "Nike Swoosh,"  Cardi B 's "She Bad," or  Ty Dolla $ign 's ...

Laura Helm is back again.  The  Usher 's herpes case is seemingly never-ending since Laura Helm is back again with another case against the singer, after dropping her previous case. Laura first sued Usher for giving her the STD and Usher fired back saying she assumed the risk when sleeping with him unprotected. In her first case, she claimed Usher forced her to perform oral sex on him. She dropped her case voluntarily for unknown reasons. Could the rapper's long-awaited debut album finally be on the way? Jay Electronica  has heightened the hopes of fans with a preview of what sounds like material with  Swizz Beatz . The rapper shared a video on Instagram, tagging Swizz, and playing an instrumental which seems to feature the producer's voice. We don't hear any bars from Jay Elec in the clip, but the intention here seems fairly clear, especially given his recent declaration that he would be dropping music in the near future.
